I have been a kindergarten teacher for the past six years and have successfully taught about 100 children how to read, write, and understand basic math facts. Before working in my own classroom, I student-taught in a second grade class and a 6th grade math/science class.

I am a certified teacher, K-6, in Massachusetts & Nebraska. I just recently moved to Kansas. I attended Wheelock College in Boston, Mass with a major in Math/Science & Elementary Education.

I'm passionate about helping children develop an excitement for learning.

When tutoring I like to work with closely with the parent to set goals for their child. Sharing these goals with the child helps make them excited and responsible for their learning. Learning should be fun, and to meet the goals I like to introduce students to a variety of games. They think they are having a blast! We know they are learning!!

I feel most comfortable tutoring grades K-6 in math, reading, writing, and science. Also, I enjoy tutoring high school biology, as I tutored biology to my college classmates.
