Even though I am a NYS certified teacher and have been in the classroom for many years. I find helping individual students especially rewarding, because I get to tailor my teaching to their particular interests! This is much more affective than teaching a class, where one has to teach in general terms, to a broad spectrum of students. I will take the time to find how best to connect each lesson to some aspect of the student's life, so that it is more meaningful and the student is more motivated to learn it.

Teaching Experience:
- Have taught in classrooms from 1st up through 8th grades.
- Army Combat Life Saving and most Army vehicles including M1 Abrams Tank procedures.
- Basic computing and computers, including typing, hardware configuration, and most Microsoft applications.
- Basic Automobile operations and maintenance, including manual(Stick Shift) vehicle operations.
- College level Mathematics up to and including College Algebra.
- Beginner guitar lessons.

- NYS Teacher Certification (Concentration in Mathematics)
- Army Instructor Certification
