I was a teaching assistant for entry level accounting classes while in college pursuing degrees in accounting and business law. I also helped people write outlines and edited papers in my spare time. I have taken classes in grammar, composition, professional communication and public speaking. I also took several classes in political science and I stay updated on politics and current events. In addition, I baby-sat and worked as a part-time nanny. While I have no professional training in education, I have the patience and the experience to help young children build basic skills. I have been involved with several read aloud programs and have volunteered for multiple community organizations that allowed me opportunities to plan lessons and activities. I work full time, but I enjoy helping people and keeping my skills sharp. Tutoring or editing seems like a great opportunity!
