I have been teaching in one form or another since I was a junior in high school. My first job was teaching violin lessons to children. In college, I spent a summer tutoring juvenile inmates in North Dakota who were working on correspondence coursework. I have worked with a variety of age groups, from elementary school age children, to middle school age, and spent three years teaching undergraduate courses when I was in grad school. I spent the last year working in Japan as an English teacher in public schools.

If applicable, I am willing to combine tutoring with being a nanny.
