I have volunteered to assist in proofreading for English classes multiple times in my community. The rules of written English have been so thoroughly drilled into my brain that my friends are consistently asking for my help in improving their writing. Currently, I am working on my own book. So, although I have a deficit in PAID experience, I promise that my passion for the written word can more than make up for that because, in college, I've learned that all the rules in the world can't quite match the contagious effect of a teacher who is truly passionate about what they are teaching. Also, I have helped out at multiple field hockey clinics and was captain of the varsity team in high school.
