Hi, my name is Stacey W. I am currently attending school at San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California. I have two teacher certificates and two associate's degrees. During my schooling I was a private tutor for children. For the last four years, I have been working with students at the elementary school levels of K-3rd grade. This includes providing individual class instruction to students in all areas of the curriculum. I value individuality, and strive to meet the needs of each student I work with. To accomplish this, I use a variety of hands-on activities and different teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles. I also recognize the importance of trust, and have successfully established relationships with students that resulted in a safe and comfortable, yet challenging, learning environment. I gained valuable group management skills and developed positive relationships with the youth in the program.
