I am an early childhood educator with over 10 years of teaching experience in private and public schools. I have facilitated learning and conducted diversified programs of activities, games, sports and rhythms suited to the needs, interests, capacities, and abilities of students. I boast an understanding of brain development, differentiated instruction, learning styles, multiple intelligences, and gender differences and biases in learning and am working on my Masters in human development. I have used these skills to lead a successful teaching career known particularly for providing rich, engaging play-based educational experiences and helping children become effective readers by assisting with their development in: phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, reading comprehension and fluency.
