My Philosophy

My parents are both high school teachers, so I have been raised to value education. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with my students. People learn by using all their senses, as well as by practicing their skills. Each person finds his or her own unique combination that leads to understanding. I feel that identifying and patiently pursuing that combination are among the first steps to success. This opportunity for creative instruction is often lost in the classroom.

From a personal perspective, I believe that teaching a subject gives me another level of understanding into it. Motivating my students gives me more focus as I pursue the next position in my career. As an aspiring corporate manager, I also recognize that improving the skills of others will become an ongoing and ever more important aspect of my work.
