Over the past two years I have substituted at a daycare facility. During these times I have worked with children with their homework and lessons provided by the facility. These lessons cover a range of subjects including arithmetic, reading, spelling, writing, and identifying colors and shapes. I have also had opportunities to proofread papers for doctoral students for grammatical errors and content. I believe that children can learn once encouraged and I try to make learning a fun task and not just something that needs to be done to pass a class.
