I am a recent graduate from the University of Iowa with a math degree. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old, and my mother hosted a daycare within our home since I was eight. Caregiving comes second nature to me, I can't help it! Through college, I babysat for multiple families consistently and helped the children with daily needs (eating, bathing, homework). I have no age limit to whom I will babysit and/or tutor. I enjoy the work. I have the capability to have fun with the children while also able to make important decisions. I am able/willing to cook, clean, do laundry. There is no limit to the number of children I will watch. I have a flawless driving record if transportation is a necessity to the job. I completed all course work for an education degree with the exception of a final semester of student teaching. I know how to breakdown math problems and have the student understand the concepts, rather than just memorizing facts. I am active, loving and understanding. I believe children are blessings who need structure, fun, and activity to enjoy their young lives. I do not see a better use of my time than to offer my skill set to those in need of these talents.
