Hello, my name is Sarah H., and I am currently a college student at Salem State University in Salem, MA. I am majoring in English with a Creative Writing concentration and I have two minors in Public Relations and History. I am set to graduate in May 2012. I graduated from Dracut Senior High School in Dracut, Massachusetts in June 2009. I graduated fourth out of a class of 252 students. The best subjects for me to tutor in are English, History, and French. I have studied math up through Calculus I, and I have done well in basic classes of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I have experience tutoring on the college level. In regards to Advanced Placement classes conducted by the College Board, I can tutor in a few of those classes. Of the four that I have taken, I had successfully passed all of them, earning me a total of 19 credits at my university. The tests that I have taken are AP U.S. History, AP European History, AP English Language and Composition, and AP Calculus AB. The former two I earned a score of 5 (on a scale of 5) on both, and the latter two I earned a score of 4, earning me the award of AP Scholar with Honor from the College Board. I have experience with literature with both children and young adults, both taking courses on the subject, which are addiction education courses. Being a college student, my schedule is quite flexible and most of my afternoons are free. I have experience with children as well and can also serve as a babysitter, being certified as one twice. I also have a lot of experience with children and teenagers helping to run as well as substitute teach at my church's religious education program. As of November 2012, I have been working part-time as a substitute teacher, grades K-12.
