My name is Samantha and I am a certified teacher in both Ohio and Illinois. I went to school at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where I majored in Middle Childhood Education, specializing in math, science and reading. I also worked at the math and stats tutoring center on campus at my university, due to the recommendation from one of my professors.
I moved to Chicago in August of 2011 and have been working as a nanny and working as a classroom aide until I can get my first classroom of my very own. I love teaching. It is my absolute passion. I feel that my strongest suits are math, science and reading, but I can definitely tutor social studies and English as well. I would love to hear from you if this sounds like it may be a good fit! Late afternoons/early evenings during the week and weekends are best for me!
