I am a State of Florida Certified Elementary School Teacher. I taught school for 25 years. I now do private tutoring and also homeschooling. I get along wonderfully with children, both in caring for them and teaching them to succeed in school. I am very responsible, patient and warm, and children enjoy tutoring with me. I try to make it fun so they are motivated to do well. I set up a chart with stars (reward system), where they are rewarded for improving their school skills and doing well. I have many supplemental books and materials available for grades K-6, that are very helpful for children in learning skills and also preparing them for the FCAT. I have excellent references. I am also available for private English classes for adults.
