I am an enthusiastic educator with a strong passion for promoting educational excellence that will make young people successful. I aspire to build confidence and critical thinking skills in young people. I have been a certified educator for the past 7 years. I have an extensive resume of tutoring children, teens, and adults in public and private avenues. I always begin service by pinpointing individual needs through assessment, examination of standardized test scores, and other school information. Then I develop a student learning plan with specific measurable goals and objectives. I tailor lessons to fit the needs and learning style of students. During instruction, I promote a rigorous and motivating environment that complements the school's curriculum. I give students periodic formative assessments. I also communicate with parents through monthly progress reports. I ensure that each concept is mastered before moving on to the next.
