I began tutoring high school students and college kids by the time I was in middle school. I graduated in the top 11% of my high school class despite having to miss my senior year in order to take care of my mother who was extremely ill at that time; as a result, I not only took care of her full-time, I also worked as a several odd jobs to earn money for college, foremost among them was tutoring in various subjects, while having to keep up my own studies without the benefit of a home-schooling program (at that time, my district didn't offer any such programs for students, like myself, who were taking college level classes). However, I enjoyed teaching myself and used the skills I picked up to develop a mini business that catered to students of all ages and needs. Although I am strongest in Literature, History, and other forms of the Liberal Arts, I am also effective in Math and Science, and, several years ago, developed a method to teach a number of foreign languages, regardless of whether or not I personally speak them. Since I started tutoring, I have worked with toddlers preparing for preschool, all the way to working adults either wanting to return to college or prepare to test into a variety of Master's Degree programs. Please, feel free to contact me with any inquiries or special study requests. I am here to help anybody in need of assistance, whether that means basic tutoring, test preparation, or researching and developing a study program for any unusual or specialized subject manner. My desire is to share my love of various subjects with others, and enjoy making learning fun for every body involved. All interested parties contacts me at your leisure, and let's make being tutored feel enjoyable instead of plain work. Rachel
