I believe that it is extremely important for my students to have a strong basic foundation of material so they will not struggle in the future. My goal as a tutor is to help them understand the subject thoroughly in order to excel above and beyond in his/her future studies.

During a tutoring session, I like to keep my students on their toes! Rather than simply teaching them, I allow my students to attempt practice questions and sample problems to better understand where they struggle and how to improve from there on. Each child is different so I mold my tutoring based on each students individual needs.

I graduated from the wonderful University of California, Irvine in June 2010. Throughout college, I tutored elementary to middle aged school children in English, grammar, reading, writing, language arts, math, science, and social studies. Once I moved back to Fremont, I became a tutor in Newark. Three months later, I was promoted to Center Manager and have continued to work there part time.
I look forward to bringing more confidence in a child's school work and to help prepare students for a better future.
