I have been tutoring children and peers for almost 10 years. I specialize in working with children with learning differences and organization issues. In January 2010, I completed my Bachelors of Science in Applied Psychology from Steinhardt's School of Education. I am now enrolled in Hunter College, obtaining my Masters in Special Education with an emphasis in Learning Disabilities.

I have extensive experience teaching children of all ages. I have previously worked as a full-time assistant teacher at a school for children on the autistic spectrum. I spent much of my time at the school teaching children in a 1:1 environment. I was also responsible for teaching a literacy group and assisting with math and science sections. In high school, I was the president of the peer-counseling club; one of my duties was to tutor and mentor students who needed extra assistance in school.

Working with a wide variety of children, who have a wide variety of abilities, has allowed me to become patient and creative in my teaching methods. I look forward to meeting with you to discuss how I may assist you or your child. Thank you for your time and consideration.
