For my first three years of college I worked with students of from middle school through high school as a tutor and homework helper in after school programs and a scholar program for local student of the Worcester area. I helped in all subject areas such as math (geometry, algebra I and II), science, biology, chemistry and basic physics, as well as English focusing on critical writing skills. I like to work with students one on one so that they can get all the help I can give them. I not only would help my student understand the material , but also try to teach them test studying skills. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Clark University in Worcester, Mass., and have a strengths in science and math.

I also needed tutoring in school. When I received tutoring, I discovered school was not as hard and frustrating as it sometimes seemed. I want to be able to do this same service for others who are struggling.
