I love teaching and helping kids of all ages learn! During my Jr. and Senior years of high school, I was a tutor in the peer tutoring center at Granite Bay High School. We were trained to tutor a variety of subjects. My specialties were English, Reading, Writing, Grammar, History, French, and Math (through pre-calculus). I was an AP/Honors student with a GPA of 4. 1 and an SAT score of 1980.
In college, I spent a semester tutoring with an ESL program in the Vickery Meadow area of Dallas, teaching English, tutoring, teaching art, coaching soccer, and just getting to know refugee children from all over the world. I have helped the children I babysit with homework. I have been a dance instructor for the past 4. 5 years, substituting and giving private lessons to children of all levels and age groups.
I am majoring in Religious Studies which is a combination of History, Language, Anthropology, Literature, and more with a specific look as to how each of these pertains to world religions. I am also a Dance Performance Minor and maintain a GPA of 3. 7 with various nominations for academic achievement honors societies.
