Hi My name is Melinda I love to teach others. I am a Med. Tech (a medical assistant) with extra training in many areas. I worked in a very busy ER for 5 years. I enjoyed training others and assisting with the Labs for the Ortho residents. I also helped prepare other LPN and techs with studying for their nurse entrance exams. I taught my first 2 children at home. In doing so, I have learned a lot of helpful teaching techniques. Before moving to Florida from Ohio, I attended a church were most of the families home schooled their children. Having the resources to hear things that worked and didn't work made teaching that much more rewarding. I also tutored other students while becoming a medical assistant, I am determined to continue with my education and become a PA.
