First of all, I am a college student currently in my last semester of school. I also have experience tutoring. I've only been a paid tutor to one young woman who was 13 years old. She had difficulties with her math skills as well as her reading skills, which were effecting the rest of her subjects. After reviewing her work, figuring out which learning method best suited her, and developing a study plan; her grades started to improve. She was failing her classes or barely sliding by when we started. Within 18 weeks, we brought her overall year grades up from B's. As a child, I had learning disabilities of my own, so I know first hand how to overcome them and find a new way to learn.
