I have a Bachelor of Science in physics and a minor in Spanish from Wittenberg University. I plan to pursue physics research and education. I thoroughly love teaching. I am currently tutoring an 8th grade student in algebra I and Spanish II, a college student in physics and Spanish, a college student in electromagnetism, and a 9th grade student in algebra. I have tutored five private students intermittently from 2008 to the present in trigonometry (high school and college), geometry (high school), algebra (middle school, high school, and college), and Spanish (middle school). I tutored college students in introductory mechanics and electromagnetism from the fall of 2009 to the fall of 2010. Additionally, I served as the lab assistant in introductory electromagnetism in the fall of 2009. I was the teaching assistant in accelerated flight science for sixth graders in the summer of 2008. I was a math tutor for high school geometry and algebra during the 2007 to 2008 school year. I also tutored fourth and fifth graders in math at an after-school program during the 2006 to 2007 school year. I traveled to Venezuela in the summer of 2009 and regularly converse with and write to my friends in Spanish. Additionally, I tutored a Salvadoran immigrant in English in the fall of 2007. I am experienced with colored pencil, pen, pastels, and paint. I use gesture, blind contour, negative space, cross hatch, and dot techniques. I took a painting class at Wittenberg University in the fall of 2011 and took three drawing classes in high school.
