I have worked with children of all ages in the home for many years. For the past 4 years I have been an in-home tutor for first through 5th grade students in language arts, reading and basic math. Many of the children I've worked with are from immigrant or lower income families where English was not the first language spoken and parent often worked long hours. It is exciting to watch children master language arts, reading and math skills, and support parents in taking a more knowledgeable role in their children's education.
