I have been a special education paraprofessional in an elementary school for the past 12 years, and have worked in every grade level, from pre-kindergarten to fifth. I am trained and proficient in the everyday math program, and I am qualified to assist students with all math assignments. I have extensive experience with reading workshops and literacy groups, as well as with the subjects of science and social studies. I assist teachers in the planning, development, and modification of instructional lessons for children with all learning abilities. Additionally, I work with students on an one-to-one basis as needed and communicate daily with parents via meetings and communication logs.
