I tutored elementary school children in a program called Even Start for about 2 years. At this job, I also worked with the migrant (from Hispanic background) parents and taught them ESL (Second English Language).

I taught ESL in China and Korea for 2 months during summer of 2006.

When working with East Bloomfield Mi gran Program, I tutored migrant children in all school grades both at the schools and in the home. I also worked with adults teaching them ESL 2 times a week for 1 year. I also taught Spanish to 2 home-schooled children 1 time/week for about 6 months before moving here to Austin from western New York.

As a Prevention Educator for the first 3 1/2 years, I have been teaching an SEL program to elementary school students in an average of 17 classes a week. In some of these classes, I taught in Spanish. I also did parenting workshops/activities mostly in spanish or in Spanish and English with parents at different schools.
