I am elated to present my resume for consideration as a tutor or private lesson instructor position through Care.com. I have over 14 years of experience in education and over 1 year in administration. I believe that every student can learn, just not in the same way or on the same day. I aspire to the method of teaching that allows me to meet every child where they are in order to get them where they need to be. As my resume will demonstrate, my career in education is extensive. I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere of learning and teaching. My greatest strengths are, but are not limited to, budget development, curriculum design and implementation, standardized testing, program management and coordination, inspiring and motivating students, as well as classroom instruction. As a firm believer in teamwork, I am an advocate for positive working environments. I am apt at fostering strong working relationships with all members of the local and school communities. I develop positive relationships with parents to promote participation in the educational process to ensure positive student growth and development. I have provided supplemental educational services and test preparation for all standardized test, including, but not limited to, SAT, ACT, GED, CRCT, and IOWA. I am a certified teacher with 10 certifications ranging from elementary through high school including SPED.
