From a young age, it became apparent to me that the educational field would be the most rewarding career for me. I have had many years of experience as a teacher's assistant and tutor for various grade levels, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. For example, I have taught small group math and English lessons for second- and third-graders, Spanish lessons to high schoolers, and night classes for adult ESL learners.

I graduated from California State University of Channel Islands with a degree in Spanish, minor in Art. While there, I took several education courses to prepare me for my next steps of getting a Master's degree and teaching credential. My goal is to meet students at their current level and help them to reach goals at a pace that still works for them.

I am happy to work with students from any age level and eager to meet their needs. I am bilingual in Spanish and English, which helps me work with families from various backgrounds. I have my own car and a very flexible schedule, so I can be available to meet students at a time and location that is most convenient for them. I look forward to meeting new people and helping students to achieve their goals!
