I have a Master's in math/statistics, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Math, a Master's degree in Finance/Information Systems, and a minor graduate degree in Bio-Statistics.
I am a previous high school and current adjunct college Math professor. I have spent the last two decades doing various types of math tutoring for preteen students through adult students. I am a previous high school and current adjunct college Math professor. I have spent the last two decades doing various types of math tutoring for preteen students through adult students. Depending on your school, I can come right to your student's school and tutor during their study skills period, during school hours. Or, if you prefer, I will come to your home. I also work with adult students preparing GRE and SAT review sessions in your home or workplace. I have even been invited to companies to teach work-related math skills to a group of employees. I will attend meetings with you and your teacher or principal, to lay out a plan for getting your student to your desired goal, whether that goal is to pass for the year, or to improve one to two letter grades. Once I have established you as a student, I am available to answer homework questions that come up during the week through SKYPE.
You can also get together several students around your kitchen table, and split the cost up between them. This is a very economical way to get your student to study.
You can also have your math course pre-tutored, so that you will have the time to manage a very full semester load.
I can also help if you have a high school, home-school student who needs a little extra motivation during the day. Perhaps, your student just needs a place to go for the occasional difficult homework question. I can work out a weekly fee to answer any particular homework questions that they may be challenged with.
