I have also spent multiple summers at a camp designing and leading activities and lessons for special needs campers. I enjoy helping people see things from a different perspective. I believe that everyone has the ability to learn and that all that needs to be done to help them grasp a new concept is find the method of teaching/learning that best suits them. It is exciting to be able to help someone learn something new, to see the look on their face when that "aha!" moment happens and they understand something new about the world.
