I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Inclusive Childhood Education at Nazareth College. Teaching children has been my passion since third grade. I have been actively working with children for the last 7 years. My experiences with children have ranged from babysitting, to daycare services, to student teaching and substitute teaching in many districts throughout Monroe and Wayne County. I am certified in General and Special Education for grades Birth-9. I have worked in large group, small group, and one on one educational situations.

My core belief is that all children can learn, just not always in the same way or at the same time. The strategies and training I have received at Nazareth allow me to live by and teach to this belief. My lessons are interactive and allow children to discover relationships and knowledge in their own ways. I use manipulatives and very rarely rely on paper and pencil tasks to educate a child. Learning should be fun and I make it my goal to ensure that my students enjoy what they are doing.
