I graduated with a BA in Family Studies the Summer of 2007. I immediately went into teaching for Cincinnati Public Schools in Cincinnati Ohio. Since then I have taught subjects in Language Arts, Science and Computer Technology. My teaching methods are based on interactive learning so that students learn the concepts visually and are able to apply the knowledge. Since January of 2008 I have tutored after school with children ranging from 8 to 17 old. State exams are my specialty, along with SAT and ACT. I am comfortable working with children of all ages and specialize in Literacy and Science. Literacy encompasses Reading, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary and Writing.
