I am attending Columbia University to pursue a graduate degree in Social Work in the fall. I grew up on Bainbridge and am back for several months after recently graduating two quarters early from the University of Chicago with a B. A. in Gender Studies (Honors). I am attending Columbia University to pursue a graduate degree in Social Work in the fall. In the meantime, I seek to enrich the educational endeavors of local students in the fields of English, Social Studies, and French.

My experience with academic writing is immense. I have written thousands of pages throughout my undergraduate career, and my 50-page thesis is in the early stages of publishing. I have also published several magazine articles. Furthermore, my passion for Social Studies helped to shape my undergraduate coursework and decision to pursue a degree in Social Work; I have extensive knowledge of social issues in the spheres of politics, human welfare, social justice, and the socio-historical foundations of American society. Finally, I am an advanced French speaker after having taken three years at BHS and two years in college.

Rates are negotiable and will vary depending on the student's grade level, subject(s) covered, and desired session duration. Sessions will take place at the Bainbridge Public Library. Weekends OK.
