I started out my tutoring career in college. I instructed elementary aged students 15-20 hours a week every semester. I then went onto become a Teaching Fellow for an education reform nonprofit called Citizen Schools. While in this position, I improved the academic and social skills of 6th-8th grade students in three different public schools in Newark, NJ. Currently, I'm a paraprofessional for a cognitively impaired and autistic first grader at SPARK Academy. Next year, I will be moving up to a co-teacher position for kindergarten at my current school. Additionally, I'm in the process of attaining my dual certification in elementary and special education. I'd love to help ignite your child's interest in learning, while helping them understand both the fundamental and complex concepts they'll need to succeed in school.
