I'm currently a full-time graduate student, and I'm interested in tutoring part-time. Prior to beginning graduate school, I taught fourth grade for three years in Fort Bend ISD. During my first year of teaching, I taught all subjects, and my last two years were spent teaching reading, language, writing, and social studies. I have experience working with and tutoring a variety of elementary school age groups through volunteer work and in my education program as an undergraduate. While in college, I worked part-time as a personal tutor for a seventh grade student as well. I worked with that student in all subject areas. I graduated from Houston Baptist University with a bachelor's degree in education and a specialization in math. I'm currently working on my master's degree in psychology. I hold an EC-8th grade teaching certification. I loved working with my students in Fort Bend ISD! I particularly enjoyed working with them in reading, language, and math. However, I would be happy to work with your child in any subject area in which he/she is struggling. I look forward to hearing from you.
