15 years of teaching children with special needs has given me a great understanding of what your child needs. I have a passion for teaching and love to work with all students, seeing results in growth of self esteem, knowledge and the meeting of their potential. I have 15 years experience in the special education field. Since I started my career, I have learned the art of communication and the ability to work with students of all ages, parents, and staff in consulting and educational interaction. I have a Master's degree in Special Education and hold both my clear Level 2 mild/moderate special education credential and my multiple teaching credential, as well as my autism authorization. Over the years, I have found that the best learning and the best teaching is done on an individualized basis, and so I have decided to continue my career as a one-on-one tutor.

I consider myself a "connection specialist". Connecting inter-personally with students and parents creates trust, self confidence, and a desire to learn. My communication, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills are strong, and I come with stellar evaluations from both administration and parents in the charter school system for the past three years.
