I have been a teacher and mentor in different settings for the past seven years, in middle school, I was a teacher's assistant in two third grade classes where I helped the kids with reading and basic math skills. I started out teaching in church setting on Sunday mornings in 2003, with younger children and have continued to do so and most recently, have been teaching middle and high school students. While in high school, I was a freshman mentor through a program called Link Crew, where we would help the students adjust to high school, though tutoring and group exercises.
