From a young age, I have enjoyed helping children. My goal in life was always to become a teacher and this became a reality Fall of 2011. I finished my degree at UF December of 2010, and now I teach 7th and 8th grade math at a local private school. I have spent numerous hours volunteering to tutor math at local middle schools. I also help the children that I babysit with their homework, as well as my younger brother with his. During Spring of 2009, I was the assistant to a math professor at CF. I have about five years paid experience of tutoring, and references can be found below. I have helped homeschool a boy in 7th grade math when his parents were overwhelmed and I have also helped a girl in 8th grade Algebra bring her grade up from a D to a high B in one semester. I love meeting new people and facing the challenges of teaching kids in a new perspective. Math is my strong suit, but I am willing to teach in almost any subject.
