I've been a tutor for a long as I can remember. But I took my first job where I was actually paid to tutor 8 years ago where I worked for a tutoring center helping children age 4 to 14 excel in math and reading. I have also worked as an instructional aide in several schools where I tutored both one-on-one and groups of kids elementary through high school aged both in mainstream and special education classrooms. Additionally, I worked for another tutoring center and an agency where I tutored students up through college level work. I've also done a good amount of volunteer tutoring, from working with an agency that works with at-risk kids of families who are receiving housing services to volunteer tutoring full-time at an orphanage in Venezuela for 5 months. I love working one-on-one or in small groups with kids. And wherever I am in life, I just keep coming back to it!
