Hi, I can help your child with homework, test prep or a new skill! I can create lessons for your child to practice his/her skills or I can create individualized strategies to help your child get organized and to stay focused in order to complete his or her work assigned by teachers.

I especially enjoy working with all levels of students from those who need help getting organized and learning how to stay on task and study, to those who would like to gain the confidence that they need to keep progressing toward their goals, and with students who are highly motivated and want extra help to meet their academic goals.

I am a professor at a local college during the year and I enjoy tutoring students during the summer or during the school year in the afternoons or weekends. I have taught or tutored K-16, and I have raised my own children and have helped over 15 nieces and nephews with their school work. I have tutored over 360 students, individually or in small groups over the last 10 years.

I can teach or tutor all ages in the areas of: Language Arts, Spanish, Writing, Reading, History, Basic Math, English as a Second Language, Geography, Sociology, Linguistics, and Composition. I have taught GED, SAT/ACT Prep and GRE Prep classes as well.
