I have a passion for teaching and am a certified K-6 teacher with a Masters in Elementary Education from Campbell University. I can help your child in all academic areas (math, reading, writing, science and social studies). I also can provide enrichment opportunities for Academically Gifted students. With over seven years of experience in the educational field and a genuine love for children I would love to help your child build confidence, develop strategies and succeed.

I am a caring individual who will work hard to help your child overcome learning difficulties. As a child, I was considered learning disabled in reading and writing. With the help from great teachers and tutors, I overcame my learning struggles. This hard work and dedication is the foundation for my desire to teach. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and tutor in the evenings. As a former teacher, I have access to leveled reading books, study/test prep materials, and the current curriculum being taught in North Carolina. Please contact me if you have any questions.
