I have been working as a tutor for the last five years, both independently and as an employee of private schools. I have worked with children from 1st to 12th grade on a professional level, and with college students on more of a personal basis. My students have come from various backgrounds and abilities. Though my favorite subjects are English and the language arts, I have worked with nearly every subject with the exception of very advanced math (the highest level I have taught is algebra I). I enjoy working as a tutor for several reasons, but the most important to me is being able to help students while, at the same time, having the privilege of learning from them.
