My name is Katherine. I teach fun, engaging lessons (games, center-based type of activities) to kindergarteners through 5th graders (6 - 11-year-olds) in math, social studies, science, literacy (spelling, reading, creative and other types of writing) and study/time management skills. I am experienced at effectively meeting the individual needs of each student and providing any extra help your child might need.

My background includes 5 years of tutoring and teaching experience. I am a former elementary school teacher with a Professional Teacher's License. I have taught 1st, 3rd and 4th grade math summer camp and have a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with heavy emphasis in Literacy and Special Education instruction.

I provide you with the convenience of working with your child in your home or at the closest public library. I work out of Denver-metro areas including Aurora, Littleton, Denver, Englewood, Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Wheat Ridge and Parker.

My rates are $30 for the 1st hour and $25 for subsequent hours or 1/2 hours (so a 1 1/2 hour session would be $42.50).
