I have extensive tutoring experience in a variety of fields. I have tutored in English as well as algebra. I have helped students learn to analyze literature, write essays, understand historical events, and graph parabolas. I have also helped dyslexic students learn to spell. I have been able to advise students about the selections of courses, summer jobs and college applications.
I am passionate about helping students improve in all academic subjects. I still remember my excitement when the student I tutored in history received his first "A" on a quiz! I am confident that my passion and experience are the qualities you are looking for.
I've done a lot of tutoring in the Malibu area and I am very familiar with Malibu High School Home School Program. I have also worked with students attending other schools.
