I recently graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. Currently playing pro hockey for the Dayton Gems. While in college and this past summer I helped tutored elementary level up to high school students with their home work. I like working with people and I'm very patient. I've worked in hockey camps for the past 6 years over the summer, so when it comes to working one on one and communicating, I am very cogent at getting points of focus across to the students. Being an engineer, my best subjects are math and science, but I can cover all spectrums. I've never been paid to tutor, but I have been in homes to help students and also have helped my brother over Skype conversations. When a student can't understand a new subject I like to break it down to the basics and include every step, so the student can see where they're at and way direction they need to go to understand or solve the problem.
