I have 38 years teaching in grades K-9 with a Master's degree in Learning Disabilities. I teach all elementary subjects and have training in a number of reading methods. I presently have students that came to me struggling in reading and math but are now showing continual improvement. In middle and high school, I specialized in English, science and social studies/history, and study skills. I have also tutored algebra and geometry. I know and understand children and discover the way they learn best. I give them encouragement and build their self-esteem along with teaching them the skills they are lacking in. Many parents of the students I have tutored continue to stay in contact with me. Their children became successful in school and no longer have learning issues. I would like the opportunity to work with your child or children and help them find success in school and life.
