Experience:

While an undergraduate at Notre Dame I oversaw the creation of a school-published student writing journal. I corrected grammar, of course, but I also worked with students who already more or less solidly understood grammar, and who wanted help fleshing-out and distilling their ideas.

During this time I also volunteered as a Big Brother and helped teach a young, disadvantaged child to read. Believe me when I say I've found substantial reward in tutoring to students of extraordinarily varied ability levels.

I've taught as a student teacher at the University of North London, also tutoring there to fellow students similarly studying abroad, and have since taught at UNH in a graduate student capacity.

Currently I'm tutoring someone struggling with English as a second language.

A little about me:

I'm the first-time-father of a little baby girl. When I play the guitar she sings (in her way) and tries to grab the strings.
