My name is James, and I'm a rising sophomore at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD as a Neuroscience major. Despite my concentration in the sciences, I maintain extensive tutoring experience across all ages. Professionally, I have worked as a tutor in which I was responsible for personally tutoring students of grades 6-12 in academic subjects (i. e. Physics, AP Chemistry, High School Spanish) with which they struggled. Furthermore, I have also worked for a learning center in Burke, VA as an English Language teacher. In this position, I not only instructed the three-hour Language class (of seven individuals of ages 9 to 13 years old) but also developed for each student an appropriate four-week learning plan in accordance to his or her individual academic needs. Along with these professional experiences, though, I also actively participate with numerous volunteer organizations in a tutoring capacity.

More importantly, I offer extensive knowledge of a wide variety of subjects. For instance, throughout high school, I both completed nine AP courses and passed the respective exams (scores of 4 and 5; average score: 4.67).
