I have been teaching and training for more than 20 years. I worked for four years as a Tutor and Trainer for Literacy Volunteers, teaching adult non-readers to read and write, and also training the tutors in a classroom setting. I used the methods I learned to teach my own son to read and write before he even started school. I also worked as an English Tutor at Manchester High School in the volunteer tutoring program, and also at St. Bridget School with students in grades K - 8.

While getting my degree in Literature at Trinity College, I was a paid Tutor and Teaching Assistant in Writing Associates program. I have been a Trainer, Senior Trainer, and Curriculum Developer for several Fortune 500 and 100 companies, and have run my own editing business for the past 10 years, helping people improve their writing skills, editing under-graduate and graduate papers and entrance essays, and assisting with resumes, cover letters, or any other type of professional document.
