My name is Henrietta. I am a fine artist and graphic designer. I teach and tutor children of all ages, languages and cultures. I specialized in helping children improve their reading comprehension skills, writing and grammar skills and also learn to effectively communicate in public or in a classroom environment. I also teach art privately, from oils to watercolors and from Photoshop to Illustrator. I have a variety of skills to offer each and every student in need of assistance. I have worked for the Cupertino Unified School District for 3 1/2 years as a literacy aide, teachers aide and contracted art instructor. At the present time, I also tutor privately in areas of reading, grammar and phonetic assessments. I enjoy helping students find their passion in learning and I am successfully able to fully engage with each student on an intellectual as well as personal level. My tutoring experience is a fun place to learn and grow. I do my best to make sure the student is motivated to learn and desires to feel the joy of learning. I love helping children learn and seeing the smile on their faces when they feel they are achieving successful academic objectives set by the child, the parents and myself during our first interview session. I love teaching, it is the joy of my life.
