I am a senior in high school and have no paid experience as a tutor but I volunteered as an academic mentor for at risk students last year. I found a passion for working with kids and encouraging them towards a successful future. I have always been a strong student (never earned anything lower than a 3.5 GPA) but I am not a genius. I always have had to work hard for my grades. I am not the student to understand everything I learn the first time but I have found methods that work for me and my learning style and I would be glad to do the same for your child. My stronger subjects English/writing, science, Algebra 1/basic math and history. I can also provide your child with effective study and organizational tips. I am caring, encouraging, and I would love to help a struggling student get back on track!
